In den niedrigeren und flacheren Teilen des Zirndorfer Waldbezirkes Sophienruh liegen die Reste von 'Celtic Fields'. Sie sind im Norden von der heutigen Bebauung bedrängt und grenzen im Osten an den Main-Donau-Kanal und dessen Begleitbauwerke, der im Rednitztal verläuft. Die Feldraine lassen Fragmente primärer Großparzellen und eine Unterteilung zumindest in parallele Langfelder erkennen. Schwache Spuren einer Kammerung sprechen für den Typ Przemęt. In the lower and flatter parts of the Zirndorf forest district Sophienruh lie the remains of 'Celtic Fields'. To the north, they are encroached upon by a present-day building area and to the east they border the Main-Danube Canal which runs through the Rednitz Valley, and its accompanying buildings.
