Für Mittersheim-Süd gilt prinzipiell das gleiche wie für die anschließenden Partien Mittersheim-NE und Fénétrange-SW. Die Stauteiche entstanden ab dem Spätmittelalter oder der frühen Neuzeit. Im 19. Jahrhundert kam der Canal des Houillières de la Sarre (Saarkohlenkanal) dazu, der die Grafik in linken Bildhälfte von Nord nach Süd durchzieht, und die Stauteiche wurden vergrößert.– Die Parzellierungsspuren römischen Typs orientieren sich im wesentlichen an der Richtung der Geländerücken. In principle, the same applies to Mittersheim-South as to the adjacent sections Mittersheim-NE and Fénétrange-SW. The reservoirs were created in the late Middle Ages or early modern period.
